Joomla Hosting Review - Best Joomla Hosting

Joomla Website Hosting.

www.GoDaddy.com

I use GoDaddy for my Joomla hosting. It is especially easy if you have multiple sites that you need to maintain. Their Hosting Connection platform allows you to easily install and uninstall programs - one of which is Joomla 1.5. It also allows you to upgrade your installations with the click of a button.

When I first started using GoDaddy for my Joomla hosting provider, they would only update the .htaccess file once every hour. When you don't know about that and you are trying to make modifications to the .htaccess file and they aren't working, you can imagine how frustrating that is. They are good now though. I see my changes implemented upon upload.

GoDaddy is a compatible hosting service with aMember if you are building a membership based site.

Don't get me wrong, GoDaddy can have its issues. They are a bit more restrictive about how you can access data and other issues that arrive with stricter security. I wanted to install a time management platform but could not do it on GoDaddy because of their system would not allow the application to access the database.

Still, if you are looking for an inexpensive hosting service with great customer service (Call them, don't use online chat), then GoDaddy is the perfect place.

HostGator's Fantastico allows one click install of Joomla! and Joomla updates. Very competitively price, you can get an unlimited domain package for under $10.00. I would recommend trying these guys out.

1&1 Internet is a popular hosing provider. Although I have never used them with a Joomla! installation, they do offer a great starter ecommerce program for $10.00 a month. If you are thinking about ecommerce, this could be worth looking into.
