Joomla Editor Review - JCK editor

ext_com ext_plugin

Developer: http://www.joomlackeditor.com/

I really just started using the JCK editor because a client had it installed.  I was immediately pleased with the look and feel of the editor and decided to look further into its functionality.  Looking at their website I see the editor is free and so is a most of their plugins.  They actually have a great selection of plugins.

I have typically been a JCE Editor kinda Joomla guy, but this one is really growing on me and worth checking out.

Simple Joomla Hosting with HostGator

I really like HostGator with Joomla. I have a reseller account there and host a lot of sites through them. Mostly WordPress but Joomla is great there too. If you have a lot of clients and want to resell hosting, I would strongly consider HostGator.

They don't handle Joomla updates as well as GoDaddy, so if you are afraid to update the site yourself, you may want to stick with GoDaddy hosting.

The JCE Editor is my first choice in Joomla Editors.  It offers a wide range of functionality and group control over access and features.

GoDaddy Hosting for Joomla

GoDaddy hosting is SUPER EASY

Ok, here it is.  If you are a newb and only need a basic website and you want to run Joomla! then GoDaddy will be fine for you.  If you need advanced customizations that would need more control over your apache installation settings, then you may want to consider another provider or even a dedicated or VPS hosting solution.

GoDaddy does offer a very easy way to install Joomla!, maintain updates and roll backs.  So if you really aren't that technical and you want an easy solution, GoDaddy is worth looking into.
